The new AR routes from Tour de Suisse 2020 from Stages 5 and 6

Since 1933, the Tour de Suisse has been the most important stage race in Switzerland. Every year, more than one million spectators watch the tour from the roadside. The Tour, consisting of 8 stages with a total length of 1,300 kilometers and 17,500 meters in altitude difference, leads across all parts of Switzerland. The Tour de Suisse is a part of the UCI World Tour, and it is the fourth-largest professional stage race in the world.
Enjoy the released Stage 5’s final section even now before the race takes place.
The first part of the stage starts in the canton of Vaud, passes the headquarters of UCI and provides a preview of the World Road Championships that take place in this region in the fall. At this time, we are bringing you only the final section, which is new and different from previous tours - the route to Leukerbad.

Tour de Suisse | Stage 5| MOUDON - LEUKERBAD| Part Leukerbad
The starting point of the course sits at 620 m. above sea level, and the finish line elevates to 1402 m. in Leukerbad. On ROUVY, this route goes for 26 km. The mountain landscape scenery is very colorful and diverse, with a fairy-tale looking tunnel at the start. The demanding uphill features multiple turns on the way to Bratsch and Albinen, and then, on to Leukerbad. Tour de Suisse | Stage 6 | FIESCH - DISENTIS - SEDRUN | Part 1

Nufenen Pass is the highest mountain pass with a paved road within Switzerland, 2,478 m. above sea level. It lies between the summits of Pizzo Gallina (north) and the Nufenen Stock (south). On ROUVY, this route goes for about 35 km., and over this distance, you will have to climb more than 1.5 km. in elevation. It’s a very challenging and demanding climbing stage that will be a hard nut to crack for even the most experienced cyclists.
